Reuniting Mangamma with Her Family

"

A woman was found in a helpless condition in Kapulakanparthy village. Local residents informed Sangam Police Station, who tried to trace her identity — but could not, because she was deaf and mute. She was admitted to Swadhar Greh, Kashibugga through the Sakhi Center on instruction of the District Women Officer.

The team tried tracing her through media, newspapers, and WhatsApp networks — without success. They recognized she was receiving a pension from the Telangana Government, and approached the Aadhaar Center. With the cooperation of Sri Pradeep Kumar (Aadhaar Center Incharge), DWO, and Field Response Officer Sri Anirudh, they identified her details through the "Missing and Re-union Aadhaar Services."

Her name was Mangamma, from Laxmipuram village, Kodad Mandal, Suryapet District, Telangana. On 13 March 2023, she was reunited with her family before the District Collector in the Grievance Cell, Collector Office, Warangal.

Outcome: Successfully reunited with family · Coordinated across DWO, UIDAI, Aadhaar Center, Women & Child Department, and Indian Social Service NGO. Recognized as the best success story of Swadhar, Kashibugga, Warangal.
