A Legacy of Service to Society

Indian Social Service (ISS) is a registered non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1987, operating from Kashibugga, Warangal, Telangana.

With a NITI Aayog Unique ID and FCRA registration, ISS is fully authorised to receive and utilise domestic and international funding. We believe every individual — regardless of gender, caste, or economic standing — deserves dignity, opportunity, and support.

Swadhar Greh / Shakti Sadan

Institutional shelter home for distressed women and girls — housing, counselling, vocational training and rehabilitation, funded by the Ministry of Women & Child Development.

Child Labour Eradication

National Child Labour Project schools giving rag pickers, street children and working children access to education and a path back to mainstream schooling.

Skill Development & Placement

PMKVY, MEPMA and Reliance Foundation-backed training in solar, medical sales, retail and tailoring — with job-placement follow-up.

Health Awareness

HIV/AIDS, TB and cancer sensitization campaigns, health camps and COVID-19 prevention drives with SAATHII, DAPCU and district health authorities.

Legal Awareness & Rights

Educating slum communities on domestic violence law, women's and child rights, RTI and marriage registration with the District Legal Service Authority.

Environment & Swachh Bharat

Bio-diversity conservation, cleanliness campaigns, plastic-use awareness and the National Environment Awareness Campaign with youth and school children.

Success Story · 2022–23

Mangamma's Journey Home

A woman found wandering in distress near Kapulakanparthy village could not speak her name — she was deaf and mute, carrying no documents. ISS admitted her to Swadhar Greh through the Sakhi Center.

Using Aadhaar "Missing and Re-union" services, our field team traced her home. On 13 March 2023, Mangamma was reunited with her family at the District Collector's Grievance Cell, Warangal.
