Located centrally in Kashibugga, close to MGM Hospital, Police Station, Mahila Police Station, and District Court, the shelter is strategically placed for swift referrals and support. Admissions are channelled through the Sakhi Center, CWC, ICPS, DCPU, and other authorities. License No: 2181-336, valid until July 2025.

Services include shelter, food, clothing, counselling, legal aid, health camps (HIV/TB, general), vocational training in tailoring and computers, and reunion with families after rehabilitation.

Skills for Life

ISS believes that sustainable change requires economic independence. Our skill development programs — under PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana), MEPMA, and partnerships with Reliance Foundation — provide youth with industry-relevant training.

Each batch receives not just trade-specific skills but also soft skills, spoken English, and computer literacy — the full toolkit for employability in the modern economy.

A woman was found wandering in distress near Kapulakanparthy village. Local villagers alerted Sangam Police Station, but identification proved impossible — she was deaf and mute, carrying no documents.

"She could not speak her name, but her eyes told us she had a family waiting."

ISS admitted her to Swadhar Greh through Sakhi Center on the order of the District Women's Officer. For weeks, the team searched through media, newspapers, and WhatsApp networks — with no success.

Observing that she received a government pension, ISS approached the Aadhaar Center incharge Sri Pradeep Kumar KUC. Using the "Missing and Re-union Aadhaar Services," field response officer Sri Anirudh was able to identify her Aadhaar card and home address.

Her name was Mangamma, from Laxmipuram village, Kodad Mandal, Suryapet District, Telangana. On 13 March 2023, she was reunited with her family in a ceremony at the District Collector's Grievance Cell, Warangal.

"This is the best success story of Swadhar, Kashibugga, Warangal." — ISS Annual Report 2022–23
