Indian Social Service (ISS) is a registered non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1987, operating from Kashibugga, Warangal, Telangana. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every individual — regardless of gender, caste, or economic standing — deserves dignity, opportunity, and support.
We concentrate our efforts on Education, Health, Environment, Women & Child Development, and Skill Development. With a NITI Aayog Unique ID (AP/2009/0020862) and FCRA registration, ISS is fully authorised to receive and utilise domestic and international funding.
Operating from Kashibugga, close to MGM Hospital, the District Court and Mahila Police Station — strategically placed for swift community support.
Every person we serve is treated with respect and compassion, regardless of their circumstances.
Fully audited accounts, statutory registrations and open reporting to donors and government partners.
We build lasting change through skills, education and economic independence — not one-time relief alone.
Women-led governance and a focus on women's and children's rights across every program.
Working hand-in-hand with Central and State ministries, welfare boards and NGO networks.
Rooted in Warangal for 37 years — programs designed with and for the communities we serve.
Registered under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act (Reg. No. 1330/1987), Kashibugga, Warangal.
Programs expand across Warangal and Karimnagar districts. FCRA registration granted in 2002.
The Ministry of Women & Child Development sanctions the Short Stay Home, later upgraded to Swadhar Greh — our flagship shelter program.
National Child Labour Project schools, RSTC under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Community Tank Management (World Bank) and legal awareness programs scale up.
Over 500 youth trained in solar installation, retail and medical sales — with 80%+ placement rates.
Swadhar Greh renamed Shakti Sadan. 165+ women and children served in a single year. First documented deaf-mute inmate reunited with family through Aadhaar services.
ISS is led by a seven-member executive committee with 2/3 women representation, guided by Dr. Vanam Balaraju since its founding.
Nearly four decades of service — and there is still so much to do. Support ISS and help build a better tomorrow for Warangal's most vulnerable.
