Our most enduring project — funded by the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India (File No: 2-2(1)/2005-06/SSH/AP) — is the shelter home for women and girls in difficult circumstances, now operating as Shakti Sadan under Mission Shakti.
Located centrally in Kashibugga, close to MGM Hospital, the Police Station, Mahila Police Station and District Court, the shelter is strategically placed for swift referrals. Admissions are channelled through the Sakhi Center, CWC, ICPS and DCPU.
Services include shelter, food, clothing, counselling, legal aid, health camps (HIV/TB, general), vocational training in tailoring and computers, and reunion with families after rehabilitation.
